Thadsha Chandrakumaran

Thadsha is swiftly carving out her niche in commercial litigation, harnessing her exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, honed through a solid background in engineering, to champion her clients' causes effectively.

Her commitment extends beyond the courtroom to meaningful community engagement. She served as the Co-President of the Osgoode Environmental Law Society and took on the role of a Criminal Law Dean's Fellow at Osgoode Hall Law School. Thadsha has also been an invaluable mentor within the South Asian Law Students Association and the Osgoode Peer Support Centre, guiding fellow students through their academic and professional journeys.

Her passion for justice and legal reform has led her to various volunteer positions, including a significant stint as a Legal Intern with the Maya Leader's Alliance Belize through the Osgoode International Legal Partnership. She also contributed her time and skills to The Winkler Institute for Dispute Resolution and the Northwest Territories Human Rights Commission under the auspices of Pro Bono Students Canada.

Thadsha's legal acumen is backed by a robust educational foundation. She was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2022 after earning her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2021. Her unique perspective in law is further enriched by her Master of Applied Science in Civil Engineering–Water and her Bachelor of Applied Science in Honours Civil and Environmental Engineering, both from the University of Waterloo.
