Kendall's expertise spans across several sectors, notably in real estate, metals and mining, financial services, and technology, providing tailored advice to both international and domestic clientele on a multitude of transactions. These range from public and private M&A deals to advising issuers and underwriters on various debt and equity financings, including noteworthy initial public offerings.

One standout project involved Kendall advising Macquarie Equipment Finance, a Macquarie Group Limited subsidiary, on its strategic acquisition of four natural-gas-fired generating facilities in Ontario from Validus Power Corp. This complex transaction also included the creation of Far North Power Corp., set up to manage these facilities. Furthermore, Kendall played a pivotal role as Canadian counsel in the C$150 million de-SPAC transaction and business combination of Oxus Acquisition with Borealis Foods Inc., a pioneering food technology company focused on plant-based meals.

Kendall's impressive track record also includes guiding the British Columbia Investment Management Corporation through a significant C$1 billion note re-opening and a pioneering C$1.25 billion private placement of senior unsecured notes. Additionally, Kendall's strategic insights were instrumental in Brookfield Reinsurance's share exchange offer, underscoring the adaptability and depth of Kendall's legal prowess.

Prior to joining Torys, Kendall honed skills at a major national law firm in Toronto, further solidifying a foundation in corporate law. Kendall's educational background, with a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School complemented by a MA in International Affairs from Carleton University and a BA with Great Distinction from Trinity Western University, provides a well-rounded perspective to every challenge faced.
