Lindsay Stitt

Lindsay's legal expertise encompasses a wide range of employment and labor law areas. She assists employers with various matters, including initial hiring processes, compliance with employment standards, addressing human rights concerns, navigating labor relations, ensuring workplace safety, maintaining privacy, managing occupational health and safety, and handling wrongful dismissal cases. Additionally, Lindsay offers legal guidance on the employment implications of corporate transactions.

Her journey with Blakes began as a summer intern in 2017, transitioning into a full-time role after completing her articles with the firm in the 2019/2020 cycle.

Lindsay's contributions to legal literature include her analysis of significant developments in Canadian employment law in 2023 and her insights into new paid medical leave entitlements for federal employees effective from December 1, 2022.

Lindsay earned her legal degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2019, following her undergraduate studies in Arts & Science at McMaster University, where she graduated with honors in 2016.
