Mary Jackson

Mary oversees the comprehensive development and well-being of legal experts and administrative personnel at the firm. Her role encompasses spearheading initiatives focused on pro bono work, promoting diversity and inclusion, and supporting women's empowerment within the legal field. Mary's commitment extends beyond internal affairs, as she also plays a pivotal role in various key firm-wide projects.

Before her tenure at the firm beginning in 1999, Mary honed her skills in civil litigation over a six-year period at a prominent Toronto law firm. Her legal acumen was further sharpened through a prestigious law clerkship under Madam Justice McLachlin at the Supreme Court of Canada between 1992 and 1993.

Mary's educational journey is rooted in Toronto, where she not only pursued her law degree but also completed her Master's and Bachelor's degrees at the University of Toronto. Her passion for teaching was evident early on, as she dedicated several years to lecturing at institutions such as Ryerson Polytechnic University and the University of Windsor, between 1985 and 1992.
