Sondra holds the distinguished position of Senior Innovation Counsel at Blakes, steering the Practice Innovation team towards groundbreaking advancements in legal process and technology optimization. Her role is pivotal in scouting for innovative ways to refine legal workflows and spearhead the incorporation and management of legal tech solutions to bolster efficiency within the Firm. Beyond internal improvements, Sondra dedicates herself to collaborating with clients, offering them expert legal operations advice and crafting bespoke solutions that cater to their unique legal and business challenges.

Her journey in the legal tech realm has seen her emerge as a visionary, particularly during her tenure as an AI practice consultant. In this capacity, Sondra guided law firms on embracing machine learning, especially in streamlining transactional procedures, marking her as a leading figure in integrating technology with traditional legal practices.

Sondra's legal career began to flourish after her admission to the Ontario Bar in 2012, with her initial years spent at a Toronto law firm where she delved into M&A and securities. With a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, her academic background laid the groundwork for her contributions to corporate and commercial law, corporate governance, and technology.
