She's well-versed in guiding clients from sectors as diverse as technology, mining, and healthcare through the complexities of their corporate and securities law needs.

Her expertise covers a wide spectrum, from private placement financings and public offerings to ensuring compliance with stock exchange listings and reverse takeovers. Ishita also focuses on the intricacies of corporate governance and the ongoing disclosure obligations that companies face. Her international perspective is enriched by her earlier practice in New Delhi, India, where she represented global entities in innovative equity and debt capital raising efforts, navigating through India's securities regulations with creativity and precision.

In 2020, as a proactive member of the Ontario Bar Association’s Charity and Not-for-Profit Law Section, Ishita spearheaded a campaign to incorporate Charity Law into the curriculum of Ontario's law schools, showcasing her commitment to the legal community and her passion for legal education.
