Michael Hassar recently joined Goodmans as an up-and-coming tax associate within their esteemed Tax Group. Prior to making the move to Goodmans, Michael honed his expertise in tax law at another leading Canadian law firm. He's in the process of broadening his scope in the complex field of income and commodity taxation, particularly as these areas apply to the intricate landscape of corporate and commercial transactions.

His educational background is impressive, with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toronto in 2019 and a Bachelor of Commerce, with Honours, from Queen's University in 2016. His academic achievements laid a solid foundation for his legal career, which officially began with his call to the Ontario Bar in 2020.
