Hayley Goldfarb

Hayley, a standout associate in our Toronto Litigation Group, excels in navigating complex legal landscapes. Her practice spans several critical areas, including infrastructure and construction disputes, professional and product liability, as well as estates law. She plays a pivotal role in the Warren K. Winkler Class Actions Moot as part of the organizing committee.

In her legal endeavors, Hayley provides robust representation and counsel to a diverse clientele, including businesses, government entities, and individuals. She skillfully handles project litigation, regulatory issues, and defends physicians against professional negligence claims.

Graduating in the top 10% of her class from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, Hayley was deeply involved in the student community. She engaged in pro bono work, aiding clients in civil litigation and family law matters, and showcased her advocacy skills in competitive mooting. Notably, she reached the final round of the 2018 Wilson Moot and later coached moot teams, demonstrating her leadership and mentoring abilities.

Among Hayley's recent notable cases are her representation of Cineworld in a significant merger and acquisition litigation and her strategic advisory role to Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment regarding the return-to-play plans during the COVID-19 pandemic for major sports leagues.

Admitted to the Ontario bar in 2020, Hayley is a committed member of the Law Society of Ontario, where her contributions to law and her clients are highly valued.
