Holly Kallmeyer

In Toronto's legal scene, Holly has quickly made a name for herself as a dynamic associate within our Litigation Group. Specializing in general litigation, her courtroom experience spans the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and even the Supreme Court of Canada, showcasing her adaptability and depth of legal expertise.

Holly's academic achievements are as impressive as her legal prowess. Graduating with Honours from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, she was awarded the prestigious Michael J. Moldaver Prize for her outstanding performance in her final year. Her role as a senior editor for the Law Review and her active participation in the Moot Court Committee highlight her commitment to legal scholarship and advocacy. Holly's dedication to giving back to the community was evident through her coordination efforts at Pro Bono Ontario, and her mooting accomplishments in the Gale Cup and the Faculty’s Grand Moot further underscore her argumentative skills and legal acumen.

Following her articling period with McCarthy Tétrault, Holly's legal journey took her to clerk for Associate Chief Justice Fairburn and Justices Gillese, Hoy, and Huscroft of the Court of Appeal for Ontario, an experience that enriched her understanding of appellate litigation. Beyond her legal education, Holly holds a Master of Philosophy with Distinction in International Relations and Politics from the University of Cambridge, and a Bachelor of Arts Honours with Distinction in Political Studies from Queen’s University, reflecting her broad intellectual pursuits and analytical capabilities.

Admitted to the Ontario bar in 2020, Holly's affiliations with the Law Society of Ontario and The Advocates’ Society signify her active engagement with the legal community and her commitment to the principles of justice and advocacy.
