Lama Kahiel

Lama, a key associate within our Toronto-based Business Law Group, offers comprehensive counsel across a spectrum of business law areas. Her expertise shines in guiding clients through private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and advising on corporate governance alongside general corporate matters pertinent to an array of industries. Additionally, Lama plays a vital role in our Retail and Consumer Markets group, delivering key commercial and regulatory insights to both local and international clientele.

Having embarked on her legal journey at Queen’s University, where she earned her JD, Lama's foundation in law is solid. Her academic path also includes a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Ottawa, equipping her with a unique blend of legal and business acumen.

Admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2021, Lama's professional ethos is defined by her membership in the Law Society of Ontario. Her journey with our firm began as a summer student in 2019, culminating in the completion of her articles in 2021, marking her transition from a promising student to a full-fledged legal professional within our ranks.
