Natasha Rambaran

Natasha Rambaran serves as an associate within the Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Restructuring & Insolvency Group in Toronto, with her legal practice concentrating on restructurings, bankruptcies, receiverships, and CCAA proceedings.

Affiliated with several professional bodies, Natasha actively contributes to the Turnaround Management Association, the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation, as well as both the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations. Her engagement extends to her membership in the Law Society of Ontario.

Before her tenure at Stikeman Elliott, Natasha garnered experience at a prominent national firm in Toronto, honing her skills in both bankruptcy & restructuring and litigation sectors.

Natasha's academic journey is distinguished by a series of honors received throughout her time at Simon Fraser University and Queen’s University's Faculty of Law. Notably, during her law school's Adam F. Fanaki Competition Law Moot, she achieved recognition for the Best Respondent Factum.

She holds a J.D. from Queen’s University, Faculty of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from Simon Fraser University, with her bar admission to Ontario occurring in 2020.

Her contributions to legal scholarship include co-authoring chapters on civil procedure and engaging in discourse on the balance between access to justice and contractual freedom in arbitration agreements and class action waivers.

Natasha's commitment to expanding the dialogue around bankruptcy, cryptocurrency, and fraud is evidenced through her speaking engagements, where she shares insights on bankruptcy basics and the evolving landscape of insolvencies in Canada.
