Noam Uri

Noam Uri has quickly made her mark within Toronto's Litigation Group, offering a versatile approach to a wide array of legal challenges. Her legal expertise covers commercial disputes, class actions, regulatory proceedings, and medical malpractice cases, showcasing her ability to adeptly represent clients across diverse proceedings.

Before her current role, Noam honed her litigation skills at a professional negligence insurer and a boutique law firm, where she tackled various civil matters. Her courtroom experience spans appearances before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and numerous administrative tribunals, highlighting her comfort and capability within both judicial and quasi-judicial settings.

In addition to her legal practice, Noam plays a significant leadership role within the legal community. She serves as the Chair of the Ontario Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Division Central Section, holds an executive position in the Canadian Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Section, and contributes to the Ontario Bar Association’s Council and Board of Directors. These roles underscore her commitment to the legal profession and her peers.

Noam’s legal education was completed at Osgoode Hall Law School, where she was actively involved in the Osgoode Women’s Network and the Jewish Law Student Association, served as an editor for TheCourt.ca, and engaged in volunteer work with Law in Action Within Schools. Her participation in mentorship programs and her receipt of awards like the Honourable Paul Bentley ’77 Prize and the Honourable Madame Justice Moira Lenore Caswell Award speak to her academic excellence and dedication to community service.

Before her journey into law, Noam earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from the Schulich School of Business, providing her with a solid foundation in business principles that complements her legal acumen.

Since being called to the Ontario bar in 2016, Noam has been an active member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Advocates’ Society. Her blend of litigation experience, leadership within legal associations, and a strong educational background positions Noam Uri as a distinguished advocate for her clients in Toronto and beyond.
