Before embracing her current mantle, Shazia played a pivotal role as Co-Director of Legal Talent alongside Ali Richardson and Michel Lederman. Shazia's journey with Goodmans traces back to her initial days as a summer student and articling candidate, eventually evolving into a seasoned associate within the corporate law sphere. Her pursuit of legal excellence didn't halt there; Shazia further honed her skills as an in-house lawyer for a globally recognized accounting firm. Her academic roots are firmly planted in Western University, where she not only earned her Juris Doctor but also an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the prestigious Ivey Business School. In 2011, her professional credentials were solidified with her admission to the Ontario Bar, marking a milestone in her legal career.
