Laura plays a pivotal role in supporting the General Counsel, ensuring that the firm's legal and administrative teams operate seamlessly. Her responsibilities span a broad spectrum, from advising on ethics and professional responsibility to overseeing client intake processes, information security measures, and marketing strategies. She is also instrumental in guiding firm governance on both a national and international scale, managing records effectively, and coordinating liability insurance matters.

Her journey in the legal domain is marked by significant milestones. Before her current position, Laura contributed her expertise as Assistant General Counsel at a prominent global law firm located in Toronto. This role built on her substantial in-house experience garnered at a property and casualty insurance company, where she tackled various legal challenges. Laura's foray into the legal world commenced almost fifteen years ago, with her first position being in the financial services group of a renowned Bay Street law firm.

Laura's academic credentials are equally impressive. She earned her Juris Doctor in 2009 from the University of Toronto, a testament to her dedication and intellectual prowess. Her undergraduate studies were completed at McGill University, where she graduated With Distinction in 2005. Following her education, she was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2010, marking the official start of her legal career in the province.
