Natalia Sidlar

Natalia Sidlar is a dynamic Associate in the commercial litigation practice at Fogler, Rubinoff LLP, where she is honing her expertise across a spectrum of litigation areas. Her focus spans contract disputes, shareholder and partnership disagreements, product liability issues, and real property conflicts.

Before her tenure in private practice, Natalia contributed her skills as Crown Counsel in the Advisory Services Group at the Ministry of the Attorney General, Crown Law Office – Civil. There, she offered legal counsel to various ministries on issues ranging from crown liability and statutory interpretation to broader administrative, public law, and general civil litigation matters.

Natalia embarked on her legal career through a rigorous articling experience with the litigation department of the Crown Law Office – Civil, where she was immersed in complex litigation cases reaching all court levels, including the Supreme Court of Canada.

Her academic credentials are notable, with dual Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and Detroit Mercy School of Law, achieved in 2019. Natalia's law school years were marked by her active involvement in equity and diversity initiatives and her commitment to mentoring through the Windsor Law Peer Mentorship Program.

Natalia was called to the Ontario Bar in 2020 and possesses a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Law and Society from York University. She is an active member of several legal associations, including The Advocates’ Society and the Ontario Bar Association, and served as a Member-at-Large on the National Civil Litigation Section Executive of the Canadian Bar Association.

Natalia's areas of practice cover litigation and dispute resolution, particularly commercial litigation, reflecting her broad legal knowledge and dedication to resolving complex legal challenges.
