William Chang, serving as an associate within the Corporate and Private Equity Practice Groups at WeirFoulds, brings a wealth of experience to the table. Before his tenure at WeirFoulds, William honed his skills at a comprehensive law firm, cultivating a wide-ranging solicitor's practice with a keen eye on corporate-commercial transactional matters. His expertise is frequently sought after for guiding clients through an array of corporate and commercial dealings.

William’s proficiency spans handling intricate private mergers, acquisitions, sales, and facilitating the drafting and negotiation of key legal documents such as shareholders’ agreements, partnership agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and various other corporate-commercial contracts.

His notable contributions include facilitating the acquisition of a leading supplier for the broadcast and entertainment industries, as well as representing the buyer in acquiring a prominent Canadian floriculture business, showcasing his ability to navigate complex transactional landscapes.

Admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2019, William's legal education was completed at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, in 2018, following his undergraduate studies in Psychology at McGill University in 2015.
