Ashley Beaulieu

Ashley Beaulieu, a standout in the realms of corporate and commercial law, zeroes in on the sectors of banking and corporate finance. Her professional journey is marked by an impressive track record of representing a broad spectrum of clients. These include both Canadian and international commercial banks, alongside non-bank financial institutions, corporate borrowers, and issuers. Ashley's expertise shines in a variety of financial transactions. She adeptly handles senior and subordinated debt issues, asset-based facilities, syndicated financings, bridge loans, term lending, securitizations, and engagements in the debt capital markets, among other debt financing forms.

Ashley's initiation into the legal field began with her role as a summer student in our Toronto office in 2019, paving the way for her return to complete her articles in the subsequent years, 2020 and 2021. Her articling phase was especially noteworthy, featuring a secondment at the Royal Bank of Canada. This experience allowed her to delve deep into a range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters, further enriching her knowledge and skills.

Before her foray into law, Ashley's professional path took her to a leading Canadian insurance company, following her graduate studies in medical sciences. Her academic tenure at Osgoode Hall Law School was distinguished by her contribution as a senior editor for the Osgoode Hall Law Journal and her active involvement as a caseworker at Osgoode's Investor Protection Clinic.

Ashley's educational background is as robust as her professional one, holding a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, obtained in 2020, and a solid foundation in science with an M.Sc. and a B.Sc. from McMaster University, completed in 2016 and 2014, respectively. By 2021, she was admitted to practice in Ontario, marking a significant milestone in her burgeoning legal career.
