Travis Bertrand

Travis Bertrand is making waves in the field of employment and labour law, tackling everything from workplace disputes to occupational health and safety issues. His legal journey took off in Toronto, where he first dipped his toes into the profession as a summer student in 2017, before sealing his commitment by completing his articles the following year.

His academic path was equally impressive, with a foundation in commerce from Queen's University, followed by a law degree from Western University, where he not only made the Dean's List but also bagged prestigious awards in tax law and in memory of Tim Edgar. A semester in Copenhagen during his final year added an international flavor to his legal education, broadening his perspective on global legal practices.

Bertrand's time at law school was marked by his role as a research assistant for the esteemed Professor Richard H. McLaren, which speaks volumes about his research capabilities and legal insights.
