Aaron Hunt

Aaron specializes in guiding private equity ventures and the establishment of investment funds, bringing a global perspective to fund formation endeavors. His expertise spans the creation and management of private equity funds, special situations funds, funds of funds, secondaries funds, and credit funds, with a portfolio ranging from small-scale funds under US$100 million to large-scale funds exceeding US$7 billion.

Aaron's proficiency also extends to secondary market transactions, offering strategic advice on liquidity solutions such as portfolio sales, acquisitions, and GP-led fund restructurings. His counsel is sought after for diverse LP investment transactions, including primary investments and co-investments in continuation vehicles.

Prior to joining Torys, Aaron honed his skills at prominent U.S. law firms in New York and London, focusing on fundraises, secondary transfer processes, and co-investment mandates for investment sponsors across the U.S., U.K., and EU.
