Alexandra Lawrence

She has represented significant entities like a leading Canadian bank in a pivotal class action on unpaid overtime and an international insurer in cases concerning universal life insurance policies.

Alexandra's legal insights have been shared widely, including her analysis on upcoming trends in Canadian class actions and the implications of new legal tests introduced by the Ontario Superior Court.

Before her tenure at Torys, Alexandra honed her skills in commercial litigation at a Toronto-based business law firm. She's an active participant in legal communities such as the Ontario Bar Association and Advocates’ Society, contributing significantly to access to justice initiatives.
