Leslie Blumer

Leslie's expertise spans the full spectrum of commercial real estate transactions. Her adept handling of complex deals includes buying and selling properties, crafting joint ventures and partnerships, guiding development projects, managing leases, and arranging finance for assets across various sectors like offices, retail spaces, industrial sites, transit-centered developments, mixed-use complexes, undeveloped lands, and facilities for seniors.

She has been instrumental in groundbreaking projects such as the Oneida Energy Storage initiative, collaborating with NRStor Inc., Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation, and Northland Power Inc. to bring to life a 250 MW / 1000 MWh energy storage facility in Haldimand County, Ontario. Her involvement extended to advising on governance, financing, and major contracts.

Leslie also played a key role in Connor, Clark & Lunn Infrastructure's strategic acquisition of Landmark Student Transportation Inc., a leading player in North American student transport. Her contributions to Village Farms International's significant stake purchase in Rose LifeScience Inc., and Birch Hill's acquisition of ERCO Worldwide, underscore her prowess in navigating complex transactions. Additionally, her work with First Capital REIT on the sale of The Hazelton Hotel in Toronto highlights her versatility in real estate law.
