Aaron Pearce

Aaron Pearce, serving as an associate within the Corporate Group, specializes in a range of areas including mergers and acquisitions, securities, corporate finance, along with general corporate and commercial law practices.

He is registered with the Law Society of Ontario as a practicing member.

Aaron's journey in law took him through a notable secondment with the Capital Markets Group at the Bank of Montreal during his articles, enriching his experience particularly in the fields of mergers and acquisitions and securities.

His areas of expertise encompass a wide range of sectors including Mergers & Acquisitions, Securities, Private Equity, Capital Markets, and Corporate Governance, showcasing his versatile proficiency in corporate law.

Aaron's academic credentials include a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, obtained in 2019, and a B.S.B.A. magna cum laude degree from The University of Nebraska-Omaha, achieved in 2016. He was admitted to the Ontario bar in 2020, marking the start of his formal legal practice.

Among his significant representative work, Aaron has played a pivotal role in advising Instant Brands Inc. and its affiliates on their court-supervised sale and plan of reorganization under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code and Part IV of the CCAA. He has also contributed to the acquisition of Iridian Spectral Technologies Ltd. by IDEX Corporation Inc. and facilitated Stronger Youth Brands in acquiring Little Kickers, a UK-based international franchisor of youth soccer programs, demonstrating his capability in handling complex corporate transactions.
