Adriana Marco

Adriana De Marco holds the position of Senior Director of Knowledge Management, Education & Innovation at the Toronto office, where she spearheads the strategic utilization of the firm's intellectual resources. Her responsibilities encompass managing the knowledge management program, overseeing legal education, directing the National Training and Development Department, and supervising library and information services. Moreover, Adriana is at the forefront of adopting and integrating cutting-edge legal technologies and methodologies that enhance the practice efficiency of lawyers.

She plays a pivotal role in the Knowledge Management & Innovation Committee, emphasizing her commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

In her professional engagements outside the firm, Adriana is affiliated with several esteemed organizations including the Law Society of Ontario, the Toronto Legal Knowledge Management Group, and the Practical Law Canada Knowledge Management Advisory Board. She is also a member of both the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association. Her dedication to workplace well-being is underscored by her certification in Workplace Mental Health Leadership from Queen’s University, attained in 2018.

Before her current role, Adriana contributed significantly to the field of civil litigation as a partner in a major national law firm for 15 years, with a particular focus on public authority litigation. Her journey also includes valuable experience within the knowledge management and innovation sector at another top Canadian law firm.

Adriana's academic credentials are distinguished, with an LL.B. from the University of Toronto (1999), an M.Phil. from the University of Dublin, Trinity College (1994), and a B.A. from the University of Toronto (1993). Her legal practice in Ontario commenced following her bar admission, marking the start of a dynamic and innovative career.
