This case saw the complete divestiture of its stake in Elk Valley Resources, a key player in the steelmaking coal sector, to Glencore plc. The deal, valued at an impressive US$9 billion, not only highlights the strategic importance of the transaction but also underscores Alannah's involvement in high-stakes, complex legal challenges early in her career.
