Brittany's expertise spans across mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and strategic investments, making her a go-to advisor for businesses navigating the complexities of both domestic and international transactions. Her portfolio boasts a diverse range of sectors including tech, life sciences, manufacturing, and financial services. Brittany is adept at guiding corporate and venture capital clients, as well as startups and growth-oriented companies, through the intricacies of equity and debt financing, joint ventures, and intricate commercial deals.

Joining Blakes in 2016, initially as part of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution team before moving to Corporate & Commercial in 2019, Brittany has a unique perspective, having also served as corporate counsel for a tech startup. This experience has enriched her understanding of the challenges faced by emerging companies.

Her notable work includes advising GGV Capital on their investment in Arteria AI, showcasing her ability to navigate the tech and financial sectors seamlessly. Outside of her casework, Brittany dedicates time to Pro Bono Law Ontario’s Duty Counsel Project, further demonstrating her commitment to the legal profession and community. A member of both the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations, her academic credentials include a JD from the University of Toronto, an MA in Political Science from the University of Victoria, and a BA from Western University.
