Gavin Inkster

Gavin Inkster, serving as an associate within the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group, delivers his expertise in commercial litigation. His legal pursuits encompass an array of areas including securities litigation, contract disputes, oppression-related litigation, and defending against class actions.

Affiliated with the Law Society of Ontario, Gavin has distinguished himself in the legal community.

His academic journey in law school was marked by notable achievements, including leading his team to victory at the 2019 Davies Corporate/Securities Law Moot, where they clinched the top spot for their written submissions. Additionally, his outstanding academic performance in Advanced Taxation and Taxation Policy was recognized with the Tax Executives Institute Prize.

Gavin's legal acumen spans across various facets of litigation and dispute resolution, focusing primarily on the complexities of commercial and securities litigation as well as the nuances of class action defense.

He embarked on his legal career after completing his J.D. with magna cum laude honors from the University of Ottawa in 2020 and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario, obtained in 2011. Gavin was admitted to the Bar in Ontario in 2021.
