Grace Smith

Grace plays a pivotal role within the Blakes Professional Resources team, dedicating her efforts to nurturing the firm's summer and articling student programs. Her responsibilities span a broad spectrum, from spearheading recruitment efforts to enhancing pro bono, mentorship, and professional development initiatives. Her journey at Blakes evolved from her initial experiences as a summer student and articling candidate to her substantive role as an Associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution group. During her tenure in litigation, Grace focused her practice on environmental law and commercial litigation, demonstrating her commitment to legal excellence and client advocacy.

In addition to her legal practice, Grace has always been passionate about guiding the next generation of lawyers. Her involvement in mentoring articling and summer students, coupled with her active participation in student recruitment, showcases her dedication to fostering a supportive and enriching environment for aspiring legal professionals.
