John Ciardullo

John Ciardullo steers the Toronto office as its Managing Partner, overseeing its operations, strategic vision, and commitment to client excellence. His roles extend to the Partnership Board, Executive Committee, Management Committee, and the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, with a previous leadership stint as the Head of the Corporate Department and the Capital Markets and Public Mergers & Acquisitions Groups.

John's proficiency in corporate law has positioned him at the helm of several landmark M&A and restructuring transactions across Canada and internationally. He's known for his advisory roles to boards, special committees, financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and government entities on compliance, fiduciary duties, crisis management, and strategic transactional advisories.

The legal community, through prestigious platforms like Global M&A Network and Chambers Global, acknowledges John’s exceptional M&A acumen, celebrating his driven, strategic, and client-focused approach. His reputation as a business-savvy lawyer and a creative dealmaker has made him a highly respected figure within the legal and business sectors.

Between 2008 and 2010, John contributed his insights to the Securities Advisory Committee at the Ontario Securities Commission, advising on policy, market trends, and the legal and regulatory consequences of the Commission’s initiatives.
