Joe Bricker holds the position of associate within the Corporate Group, where he dedicates his practice to a blend of mergers and acquisitions, securities, corporate finance, and navigating the complexities of hostile and contested situations.

In the realm of mergers and acquisitions, Joe lends his expertise to both public and private deals, spanning various sectors. His work in securities and corporate finance is marked by involvement in prospectus offerings, private placements, and ensuring compliance on ongoing matters. Furthermore, Joe provides guidance to issuers, corporate boards, and shareholders during proxy battles, contentious transactions, and other pivotal corporate moments.

Affiliated with the Law Society of Ontario, Joe brings a rich background to his professional endeavors.

His academic journey saw him earning accolades such as the Osgoode Society Legal History Book Prize, demonstrating his proficiency and interest in legal history. Joe's advocacy skills were spotlighted when he won the Gale Cup Moot and participated in the Commonwealth Moot in Glasgow, Scotland, securing victory. Additionally, he showcased his moot court skills at the University of Toronto’s Grand Moot.

Joe's experiences extend beyond the legal field into the political arena, having interned in both the Office of the Prime Minister and the Office of the Leader of the Opposition in Ontario, gaining insight into federal and provincial politics.

Prior to his role at Stikeman Elliott, Joe enriched his legal experience as an associate at a global law firm based in Toronto, further solidifying his expertise in corporate law.
