Lawrence Cobb

Larry Cobb, a partner at his firm, spearheads a dynamic environmental law practice that enriches business transactions such as financings, acquisitions, and divestitures. He is adept at guiding clients through the complexities of environmental liabilities and tailors business strategies to mitigate these concerns. Larry’s consultancy spans a wide array of environmental issues including site contamination, remediation processes, environmental permitting, liabilities of directors and officers, and matters related to insolvency and bankruptcy. He also addresses the nuances of real property transactions, the transport of hazardous materials, cross-border hazardous waste issues, and redevelopment of brownfield sites. Moreover, Larry has led and participated in environmental assessments and compliance audits for a variety of industries including manufacturing, mining, and pulp and paper.

Beyond his practice, Larry has made significant contributions to the field through writing and speaking on environmental legal topics. He has previously served on the Executive of the Ontario Bar Association Environmental Section, marking his involvement in professional legal circles.
