Marc Lean

Marc Lean has dedicated over two and a half decades to mastering the intricacies of commercial and multi-unit residential real estate law. Initially working as a sole practitioner, Marc represented a range of small family businesses and mid-market companies, many of which have remained with him as his career advanced. These early relationships have blossomed into a client base that now includes prominent national and international corporations as well as financial powerhouses. His expertise has similarly expanded, now covering development, leasing, and municipal law, among other areas.

Marc's educational journey began at Victoria College at the University of Toronto, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in 1982, followed by a Bachelor of Laws from Queen's University in 1985. By 1987, he was called to the Bar of Ontario, marking the start of a distinguished career in law.

Marc's legal practice spans several key areas, including public finance, real estate, and economic development. In the banking and finance sector, Marc has represented Canada's major banks as well as international banks from Asia, including a priority position with India's largest bank.
