Michael Bruno

Michael Bruno serves as an associate in the Corporate Group, where his expertise spans mergers and acquisitions, private equity, securities, capital markets, and broader corporate and commercial legal practices.

He holds membership with the Law Society of Ontario, underscoring his commitment to the legal profession.

During his legal studies, Michael distinguished himself academically by securing the Marvin Kin Tung Cheung, OBE, Memorial Prize, awarded for outstanding achievement in Commercial Law. Furthermore, he was recognized with Academic Performance Prizes for his exceptional grades in Taxation of Business Enterprises, and for achieving the highest averages across courses in Commercial Law, Business Associations, Securities Regulation, and Taxation Law. Michael's academic excellence continued as he was awarded the Matthew Wilson Memorial Prize in his final year for being among the top three in written law examinations.

Michael's legal acumen is deeply rooted in areas such as mergers & acquisitions, private equity, securities, and capital markets.

His educational journey includes a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, completed in 2020, and a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from Ryerson University, attained in 2016. His admission to the Ontario Bar solidifies his position within the legal community, where he continues to build his practice and expertise.
