Mohamed Hadi

Mohamed Abdel Hadi contributes his expertise as an associate within the Corporate Group, where his focus spans a broad spectrum of corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, securities, corporate finance, and governance, alongside general corporate and commercial law practices.

An active member of the Law Society of Ontario, Mohamed's commitment extends beyond his professional obligations. He dedicates time to volunteering for the Yorkville Exotic Car Show, an event that garners support for Prostate Cancer Canada each year.

With proficiency in Arabic, Mohamed offers a diverse perspective to his practice. His areas of specialty include guiding clients through the intricacies of mergers and acquisitions, engaging with private equity, navigating the securities landscape, and advising on capital markets and corporate governance.

Mohamed's academic credentials are robust, holding a Juris Doctor from Western University and an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019.

Among his notable recent engagements, Mohamed played a significant role in advising Westland Insurance Group Ltd., a leading independent insurance broker in Canada, on the sale of a majority interest to BroadStreet Partners, Inc., a company within the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan portfolio. He also represented Flipp Corporation during its acquisition by Truelink Capital and was instrumental in the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario's (IMCO) initiation of its C$4B Public Market Alternatives Pool.
