Patrick O’Kelly, a seasoned partner within the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group, dedicates his practice to professional negligence, product liability, and securities litigation, with a distinct focus on auditors’ negligence and class action defense.

He has actively contributed to the legal community, participating in the Canadian Bar Association’s Continuing Legal Education Committee and the Submissions Review Committee for several years.

In addition to his legal career, Patrick is actively involved with the Halton Aphasia Centre, serving on its board and contributing to its mission.

His recent professional highlights include achieving a landmark C$40M judgment for the Special Receiver of Livent Inc. in Canada’s first auditors’ negligence trial involving a public company. He also represented Fairfield Sentry in its significant lawsuit related to Bernie Madoff’s Ponzi scheme and defended KPMG Inc. against professional negligence claims.
