Since joining Blakes, Robert has been instrumental in guiding clients through complex commercial transactions and governance issues. His expertise extends to collaborating closely with specialists across the firm to tailor advice to clients' specific sector needs. Additionally, Robert dedicates a portion of his practice to offering pro bono legal services to community organizations, underscoring his commitment to giving back.

During his early days at Blakes, Robert gained invaluable experience through a secondment at an international bank, enriching his understanding of corporate governance and regulatory compliance.

His recent work includes advising Financeit on its strategic acquisitions and assisting Pacific Equity Partners in significant divestitures. Robert's involvement in private equity transactions, such as the acquisition of Midland Industries by Gemspring Capital, showcases his adeptness in navigating the private equity space. He has also made significant contributions to the life sciences sector, advising on the consolidation of dental practices and equity investments in healthcare.

Robert's technology sector accomplishments include facilitating Northwestel's expansion and guiding Upchain through a pivotal sale, demonstrating his versatility across industries.
