Sivan Fox

Sivan Fox, a graduate of McGill University with degrees in law and arts, became a member of the Ontario Bar in 1996. Fluent in English and French, she has been appointed as Osler's General Counsel. With over two decades of experience in the corporate sector, Fox's expertise spans a wide array of legal disciplines. She excels in navigating legal affairs and risk management, emphasizing client relationships, conflict resolution, and compliance. Her leadership is marked by inclusivity, engagement, and a focus on results, earning her a reputation as a dependable consultant to business leaders and corporate boards.

Before her current position at Osler, Fox enriched her career as a general counsel and corporate secretary for a significant Canadian bank and a publicly traded company with interests in diverse sectors such as finance, real estate, and mining. Her leadership in legal departments covered extensive transactions, from mergers and acquisitions to equity and debt financing, alongside managing investment funds, corporate governance, regulatory adherence, and crisis management. Her exceptional contributions were recognized in 2021 when she received the Canadian General Counsel Award for Mid Market Excellence.
