Taisa Morsky, serving as an associate in the Corporate Group, dedicates her practice to the intricate areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities, corporate finance, corporate governance, and the broader scope of corporate and commercial law.

Currently, Taisa is enhancing her global legal perspective through a secondment in the London office, showcasing the firm's commitment to providing its associates with international exposure.

As a member of the Law Society of Ontario, Taisa upholds the highest standards of professional conduct and expertise in her field.

Her journey with Stikeman Elliott began as a summer and articling student, culminating in her joining as an associate in 2022, evidencing a strong foundation and continuity within the firm.

Taisa's areas of expertise are diverse, spanning Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Markets, Securities, Mining, and Private Equity, reflecting her versatile legal skill set and her ability to navigate complex transactions.

Her academic achievements include a J.D. with distinction from the University of Western Ontario and an Honours B.A. with distinction from Queen’s University, laying a solid foundation for her legal acumen. Her formal admission to the Ontario bar in 2022 marked the commencement of her promising legal career.

Among her recent contributions is advising Smith Financial Corporation on its significant proposed acquisition of Home Capital Group Inc., guiding Hochschild Mining plc through its all-cash acquisition of Amarillo Gold Corporation, and assisting Aclara Resources Inc. with its IPO and concurrent private placement, showcasing her involvement in high-profile corporate transactions.
