Alexandra Alacchi

Alexandra has swiftly become a pivotal member of our corporate team, with her expertise spanning mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, securities, and support for emerging and high-growth companies. Admitted to practice in both Ontario and Québec in 2020, her multilingual abilities in Spanish, Polish, French, English, and Italian enhance her capacity to navigate complex international transactions.

Her academic journey, marked by a B.C.L./LL.B. from McGill University and a B.A. from Concordia University, laid a solid foundation for her legal career. Alexandra's law school tenure was distinguished by her clerkship at the Cour du Québec and her role as a political advisor, complemented by pre-law experiences in public policy and international affairs across Montréal, Paris, Geneva, and New York.

Since joining the firm as a summer student in 2018 and completing her articles in 2020, Alexandra has been instrumental in several high-profile transactions. Her contributions have ranged from aiding Super.com in securing US$85 million in Series C financing to facilitating CNH Industrial's $175 million acquisition of Hemisphere GNSS. Notably, Alexandra has also played a key role in Attabotics' $95 million financing and supported Vive Crop Protection through its US$26 million Series C financing round.

Alexandra's legal acumen has further supported entities like Ratehub, Arteria AI, and Verisk Analytics through strategic investments and acquisitions. Her involvement in significant capital market transactions includes advising the Royal Bank of Canada on a $750 million preferred share offering and assisting in Teranet's $500 million senior secured bond offering.

Beyond her transactional work, Alexandra dedicates time to mentoring with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Canada, demonstrating her commitment to community engagement alongside her professional pursuits.
