Ginevra Saylor

At Gowling WLG, Ginevra Saylor shines as the Director of Innovation and Knowledge Programs, steering the firm towards cutting-edge practices in innovation, knowledge management, learning and development, legal project management, and process re-engineering. Her role is pivotal in enhancing the firm's client service delivery through the adoption of innovative programs, processes, and tools. With two decades of expertise, Ginevra's strategies have significantly contributed to the firm's advancement in client solutions, technology integration, and process optimization.

Prior to her current position, Ginevra was instrumental in leading similar initiatives at another global law firm and managed knowledge at a national firm. Her rich background includes roles as a litigator and educator, establishing her as a respected voice in discussions on legal practice, innovation, and technology within the legal field.

Ginevra's achievements in promoting knowledge management and technological advancements in legal practice have been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Knowledge Management Leadership Award from the Global Knowledge Management Congress and the Shining Star Publications Award from the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) in 2016.

Admitted to practice law in Ontario in 1998 and in Pennsylvania in 1984, Ginevra's legal education was completed at Temple University School of Law, where she earned her JD. She also holds a BA from Franklin and Marshall College, acquired in 1981.

Ginevra is deeply involved with professional legal associations, serving as President of the ILTA Board of Directors, a Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management, and a Senior Fellow of the World Legal Summit. Additionally, she has held leadership roles within the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association, specifically within their Technology and Law Practice Management Sections, highlighting her commitment to advancing legal practice management and technology integration in the legal profession.
