Glen Jennings

Glen Jennings, based in Gowling WLG's Toronto office, excels as both the leader of the firm's White Collar Defence & Investigations Group and a distinguished litigator recognized by Chambers for his proficiency in criminal and regulatory matters. With over two decades of experience, Glen is well-versed in white-collar defense, navigating complex regulatory landscapes, conducting internal investigations, and advising on corporate risk and compliance.

Throughout his career, Glen has adeptly represented corporations and executives in some of Canada's landmark white-collar cases. His legal expertise covers a broad array of matters, including corruption (both domestic and international), intricate tax disputes, fraud, environmental issues, pension matters, money laundering, antitrust, and securities cases. His courtroom experience spans all levels of the Ontario Court system, from the Court of Appeal for Ontario to the Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice.

Before his tenure at Gowling WLG, Glen honed his skills at a Toronto litigation firm and has held roles as a defense lawyer and assistant Crown Attorney, showcasing his comprehensive understanding of both sides of the courtroom.

A committed educator, Glen has shared his knowledge through lectures and teaching engagements with notable legal organizations and institutions, including the American Bar Association, The Law Society of Upper Canada, and the University of Windsor Law School, where he teaches a course on Law and White Collar Crime. Furthermore, he has contributed to the legal community's dialogue on enforcement as part of the Ontario Securities Commission Enforcement Consultation Committee.
