Jennifer King

Jennifer L. King, a distinguished partner at Gowling WLG, holds the dual roles of National Co-Lead for the firm’s Administrative Law Practice Group in Canada and co-lead for the ESGI (Environmental, Social, Governance, and Indigenous) advisory services practice. Her expertise extends across the firm's Climate Change and Environment Group and the Advocacy Department in Toronto, highlighting her versatility and depth in addressing complex legal matters.

Renowned for her adept litigation skills, Jennifer specializes in handling high-stakes cases related to environmental, municipal, and emergency law. She skillfully guides her clients through intricate legal landscapes involving environmental and climate change issues, constitutional debates, corporate disputes, professional liability, torts, public health, land use, municipal law, and Indigenous rights. Her prowess is recognized across all judicial levels, including the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as various tribunals such as the Ontario Land Tribunal and the Nunavut Impact Review Board.

Beyond her litigation achievements, Jennifer is celebrated for her strategic advisory skills, helping clients effectively engage with intricate regulatory frameworks.
