Robert Farmer

Robert Farmer, a seasoned partner at Gowling WLG's Toronto branch, specializes in the sectors of banking, financial services, real estate, corporate commercial law, and mergers and acquisitions. Robert's client roster includes major Canadian financial institutions, as well as lenders from Canada and the U.S., specializing in a variety of financing strategies including asset-based, mezzanine, and personal loans.

Drawing on over two decades of experience in finance and investment banking, Robert's approach to law is deeply informed by his prior roles, including his position as a senior officer at Canada's largest bank and the leader of a private investment fund.
