Ron's journey in law began with an LLB from Queen's University, followed by a B.Sc. in Engineering Mathematics, also from Queen's University. He became a professional engineer in Ontario in 1982 and was called to the Ontario bar in 1976. His commitment to continuous learning is evident from his participation in the Directors Education Program at the Rotman School of Business, University of Toronto, and his certification as an arbitrator by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
