Audrey Warner

Audrey Warner serves as Counsel within the Construction and Infrastructure Practice Group at Singleton Urquhart Reynolds Vogel LLP. Her expertise lies in the trenches of construction litigation, where she robustly defends the interests of a wide array of clients including project owners, developers, and those in the trenches of building and design, such as contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers. Audrey is particularly adept at navigating the complexities of professional negligence in the construction sector.

Her skill set encompasses a comprehensive approach to dispute resolution across a variety of claims, from construction lien and negligence to delay claims and broader contract disputes. Audrey's proficiency extends to the meticulous review of construction contracts, offering seasoned advice on contract management, alongside her adeptness at negotiating and formulating Requests for Tenders and Proposals. Her litigation arsenal is well-equipped, boasting extensive experience in drafting legal documents, mediating disputes, and guiding clients through examinations for discovery, settlement negotiations, and court proceedings.

Audrey's courtroom experience covers all judicial levels in Ontario, including the esteemed Court of Appeal. Beyond her litigation successes, she contributes to the legal field through numerous publications and presentations on construction law, enriching the profession with her insights.

Outside the courtroom, Audrey dedicates her time to mentoring the next generation of legal professionals, guiding both high school and university students aspiring to enter the legal field.

Her educational journey, marked by degrees in Arts and Commerce from Carleton University, culminated in an Honours degree in Law from the University of Ottawa. Since her call to the Ontario Bar in 1995, Audrey has been an active member of the legal community, holding memberships in the Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association, Advocates’ Society, and Toronto Lawyers Association.
