Kelsey MacKay

Kelsey oversees the firm's Toronto-based corporate law clerk and services division, ensuring their engagement, leadership, and ongoing professional growth. She collaborates with attorneys to refine legal procedures, project management, and technological solutions, aiming to enhance the delivery of legal services that meet Torys' standards of excellence.

She also spearheads initiatives for knowledge management within the firm and conducts legal education sessions for the firm’s lawyers, articling students, and law clerks. Kelsey serves as a key legal and procedural advisor across the firm.

Her recent contributions include insights on the new ISC filing and transparency mandates for CBCA corporations for 2024, and the latest requirements for OBCA corporations regarding the registry of individuals with significant control.

A member of the Law Society of Ontario, Kelsey's academic background includes a JD from the University of Manitoba in 2016 and a BA from the University of Ottawa in 2013. She was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2017.
