Charles Wang

Charles, currently an articling student at Bereskin & Parr LLP, brings a fresh and insightful perspective to the fields of electrical and computer technology, artificial intelligence, and quantum computing. With a solid foundation in both law and engineering, Charles is uniquely positioned to navigate the complex intersection of technology and intellectual property law.

His academic journey includes completing a Juris Doctor program at the University of Western Ontario, alongside earning a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science, with a focus on Electrical and Computer Engineering, from the University of Toronto. Beyond his academic achievements, Charles is recognized as a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario, showcasing his commitment to excellence in the engineering domain.

Before venturing into the legal field, Charles gained valuable experience as an electrical engineer, contributing to the design of power distribution and communication systems for high-profile rail, infrastructure, and building projects on an international scale.

Outside the professional arena, Charles has a passion for jazz music, often found at the piano channeling the legendary styles of Oscar Peterson and Bill Evans, despite his modest self-assessment.
