Aaron Sutherland

Aaron brings a wealth of expertise to the table as a corporate commercial and trademark lawyer, specializing in advising clients on their contractual relationships and intellectual property strategy. With a focus on trademark prosecution and portfolio management, Aaron navigates the complexities of both Canadian and U.S. trademark law, providing strategic guidance to clients on an international scale.

In addition to his trademark work, Aaron's corporate commercial practice involves drafting and negotiating a diverse array of contracts, facilitating domestic and international business relationships with precision and care.

Before embarking on his legal career, Aaron pursued his passion for literature, earning a Master's degree in English Literature from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from St. Francis Xavier University. His academic achievements were recognized with the prestigious Hantelman Humanities Scholarship during his time at the University of Saskatchewan.

Aaron's legal journey culminated in his graduation from Thompson Rivers University, Faculty of Law in 2018, where he distinguished himself as the recipient of the Dean’s Course Prize in International Intellectual Property Law & Policy.

Now admitted to the bar in Ontario and Alberta, Aaron continues to serve his clients with dedication and diligence, leveraging his diverse background and legal acumen to deliver tailored solutions to their complex legal challenges.
