In 2014, my ex-wife and I were going through a divorce, and my ex-wife made the biggest mistake of her life in hiring Sarah as her lawyer. In fact, doing so almost cost my ex-wife her life, as she ended up suffering a stroke while going through the process, due to all of the unnecessary stress and problems that Sarah was causing because of her unprofessional conduct, and tendency for adversarial conflict. You see, instead of trying to help resolve the issues in mine and my ex-wife's divorce, Sarah knew that if she just kept creating conflict, and kept the issues going, she would make a lot more money than if she just helped us resolve our differences and reach a settlement. In fact, at the very beginning of our divorce, when my ex-wife first hired Sarah, I reached out to them with a very reasonable settlement offer that was very close to being exactly in line with what the Court would find being the Equalization Payment in our divorce. As a Lawyer, Sarah would know that my Settlement Offer was very close to being exactly in line with what the Equalization Payment would be in our case, yet she still encouraged my ex-wife to reject my settlement offer, and our case ended up dragging on for a full year as a result, and as I said earlier, my ex-wife ended up suffering a stroke due to the stress that Sarah was creating, and she ended up having to pay Sarah close to 45 THOUSAND DOLLARS in legal fees, when she may have only had to pay 2 Thousand Dollars in Legal Fees had they just accepted my very generous Settlement Offer in the first place. Which by the way, was 6 Thousand Dollars less from the amount that we did actually settle on 1 year later with the Equalization Payment.

By the way, an interesting thing happened at our first Case Conference in the Court Process. The Judge; who had to tell Sarah a couple of times during the Case Conference to "Settle Down", and "Conduct Yourself More Professionally"; actually finished the Case Conference by telling Sarah that her and her client (my ex-wife) should probably reconsider accepting the very generous Settlement Offer that I had originally proposed, as it was his opinion that if this case goes to trial, that I would win easily. Yet, even after hearing the Judge state such, Sarah kept encouraging my ex-wife to dismiss my Settlement Offer and continue on to a trial.    

Ladies, think twice before hiring Sarah to be your Lawyer if you are going through a divorce. Sarah is nothing more than a vulture, who will feed off of your anger and vindictiveness in order to make a lot of money for herself. And she could care less if your health, or life, is affected during the process. Instead of helping you and your ex-husband resolve your differences with minimal conflict, and a minimal amount of money spent, she will create the maximum amount of conflict that she can create, and she will drain you bank account in the process. She could care less about you, or your children, and your children's future. Hiring her would be the biggest  mistake of your life, just as my ex-wife found out. The wise thing to do would be to find a different, and more professional Lawyer who will actually help you and your ex-Husband resolve your issues with the least amount of conflict.
