Bankrupted his firm, doesn't pay his debts, owes creditors millions of dollars.

not sure why he hasnt been disbarred. he bankrupted his law firm, stopped paying employees, and just disappeared.

there is a reason why he's closed.

Didn't pay any of his employees for weeks, but went on expensive trips and bought several nice cars.

He's has caused so many headaches because of poor professionalism. He did our wills and now having to pay to redo them as they were done horrible. No wonder why his practice is closed.

Mr. Arnold helped us with an extremely difficult real estate closing. Without his professional advice we would have been out tens of thousands of dollars.

James is a horrible lawyer and an even worse person (if that’s possible). This guy is incredibly shady. From what I’ve read his practice is closed now … gee I wonder why.

His staff were all lovely people though, very knowledgeable, they always responded to emails and phone calls… cant say the same for him.

Spelled my aunts name wrong on her will but refused to fix it. Instead he just gave me a single paper saying she’s the same person as the incorrect spelling name on her will… terrible is an understatement.

I attended the court as an observer when he pleaded guilty on Feb 6, and I vaguely heard your last name. I am the owner of St George. I understand he is barred from returning to the property under the plea agreement (except once to gather his belongings). The court essentially terminated his tenancy, but the LTB has not as of yet. My legal representative believes that eviction will inevitably happen given the Court Order. I am wondering if you could let him know that he could get out of his 1-year-lease by signing an N11. This will free him from further owning rent and increasing his debt. Otherwise, his rent owing will continue to grow until the LTB ends his tenancy. The LTB hearings are not until April 30 & May 1. We have two hearings scheduled. If he is interested, I can provide him with our NEW property manager's contact information (C is no longer involved in this). You (or J) can contact him if you are interested in signing the N11. He can also sign it on the day he attends the property to gather his belongings.

Mr. Arnold should NOT be licensed to practice law. He is not truthful or competent. Here is an article about how much money he owes his creditors. He didn't pay his employees and just tucked his tail between his legs. He also just abandoned all his clients and left without saying a word. Now he is trying to practice law in another City and he changed his appearance, maybe so his old clients won't recognize him. BEWARE OF THIS LAWYER.

This place is a joke. Each lawyer at that was at this firm was horrible. Beware!!

We had a great experience with him, but I was amazed to see he had a former co worker from Toyota working for him that was let go from Toyota for what we all thought was being a drug addict and apparent abuser of family members.

In reading reviews, I thought I would clarify that James Arnold's firm, Cooper Professional Corporation ('CPC'), is bankrupt, and Richard Cooper has had to disassociate himself and start a new firm, R A Cooper Professional Corporation, at the same location.

In starting his own new practice, Richard has had to "clean shop" and make some positive changes.

It is alleged that he misappropriated money from his trust account, and sexually harassed his female employees. How can he be trusted to handle a real estate deal, when he misappropriated money from his trust account? That is a serious breach of conduct for a lawyer.

This guy tried to fake his own death to get out of his debts. Nice one pal. See you in hell.
