Dallas, holding the reins as the Managing Partner at Beckett, showcases a multifaceted expertise across the Plaintiff Injury Group, Insurance Defence Group, and the Sexual Abuse Department. His recognition as a Specialist in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Ontario underscores his profound understanding and skill in the legal realm. This prestigious title is awarded to lawyers who demonstrate extensive knowledge and professional excellence in their field, a testament to Dallas's proficiency and dedication.

Hailing from Sault Ste. Marie, Dallas's academic path led him from a Bachelor of Social Science at the University of Ottawa, with a focus on Political Science and Classical Studies, to a Bachelor of Laws from Western University, culminating in his call to the Ontario Bar in 2005.

Dallas's legal journey is marked by his commitment to representing individuals across Ontario and beyond, from survivors of sexual abuse to victims of various accidents, including motor vehicle collisions and slip and falls. His broad practice encompasses guiding clients through insurance claims associated with accident benefits, health benefits, and disability benefits, alongside navigating programs like the Ontario Disability Support Program and the Canada Pension Plan Disability Program. Dallas's courtroom presence spans all levels of the Ontario court system, as well as appearances before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and the Licence Appeal Tribunal.

Notably, from 2005 to 2009, Dallas served as Lead Counsel to the Victims Group at the Cornwall Public Inquiry, advocating for survivors and ensuring Beckett's role as the sole law firm recognized by Ontario to represent victims. His advocacy extended to the media, championing the rights of survivors of abuse.

Dallas's legal acumen also encompasses representation in cases against religious institutions, Children’s Aid Societies, school boards, and even in matters involving large corporations. His work has contributed to initiatives aimed at enhancing responses to sexual abuse by governmental and institutional bodies, including submissions to the McMurtry Victim Compensation Review and the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Beyond his legal endeavors, Dallas is a proactive member of several legal associations and furthered his skills in alternative dispute resolution at Harvard Law School’s negotiation program in 2016. When not immersed in legal work, he indulges in his passion for travel, exploring new destinations and cultures. Dallas's comprehensive legal expertise, combined with his dedication to justice and client advocacy, marks him as a distinguished figure in the legal community.
